I have so many great memories of Gene from jr high through high school. He was a good person and friend. I received an email from him a couple of yrs ago. I know he is in a better place and at peace. My condolence to his family.

I hung with Gene, Oscar Garza & Gerritt Hylkema. We looked for Wild Bill alot. I remember his 1963 Ford Galaxie, Gerrit and I, went out with Gene to get our party on. Gene had a lead foot. He was a funny guy, we had lots of fun, looking for chicks and sometimes finding them. Lake Wood partys, fighting with the sailors. We were tight back in the day.RIP

I had Gene in some of my classes through High School and the one thing I can remember is that he was always with a smile
, that made others around him smile back..... condolences to the familia (Family). I know how your feeling cause I just lost my only son of 36 years young four weeks ago.

I knew Gene a little. I remember his pride and joy the Ford Galaxy. I saw him mostly in the mornings, except I think we had one P.E. class together. He seemed easy going person. We had a laugh now and then. He thought I was silly and shake his and smile.RIP
