I recall Susan being one of the sweetest girls I have ever known. I am saddened that her life ended so early.

Me, too. It was tragic. So very sorry--she was a lovely girl.

Susan was a wonderful person and friend. She was easy to talk to about most things and preceptive. Susan and I became friends because she (usually)sat behind in "home room." She and I attended De Anza College until her tragic death. She "hitch-hiked" to school, back in the day when it seemed reasonably safe to do so...one day she did not show up. I have more on this, but I will wait.

Don't quote me, since it has been a long while, but I think that Susan was murdered in March of 1968...it was an early spring with rains before and after her death.
There's is a lot of things I am trying to forget about war and personal matters that so-called human beings do to one another.

Susan and I were in the SHS production of the musical "  Oliver" together.  We had a lot of fun and I remember I brought in clothes for the  street thieves to use as costumes.  Everyone grabbed all the stuff and I was left with nothing.  Susan gave me one of her brothers shirts and we went on together as little street theives. She was always smiling and had a lovely signing voice.  We were in Choir together and PE.  I was very upset the day I read about her tragic death in the newspaper.  I will always remember her kindness and sunny disposition.
